The Continent map ( open image in new tab to zoom) Monsters, humans, and everything in between had to adapt and figure out how to survive in their unfamiliar new home, there was no going back. The exact cause of the Conjunction was unknown, when the Conjunction ended, many different creatures found themselves trapped in the Continent. The elves claimed that it was during the Conjunction that humans learned to use magic. This occurred soon after they managed to destroy their own world. Humans also arrived in this world during the Conjunction. Despite elves also trying to claim they were one of the original races in the known world, they in fact came from different realities to the Continent. The cataclysm commonly known as the Conjunction of the Spheres, happened 1,500 years ago, was a cosmic collision of several parallel universes.
